A Private Banking Relationship Manager is someone who provides personalized service to wealthy clients that is not available to typical customers. The job of my interviewee requires a moderate amount of reading and
writing. A Private Banking Relationship Manager is required to stay in touch
with their clients. She has found that the best way to do this is by email. Email is one of the
most popular forms of communication; it is quick and effective. Emailing is not as simple as most people may think. When a professional sends an email, there are
guidelines that must be followed. One must understand who their audience is,
whether they must stay professional,
or if they have the ability to be informal.

It's very important that when gathering information from a site that you know it's professional because otherwise you don't have a credible source. How do you know these sites are actually credible? Do they specify? One has the word "journal" in it which could be misleading.
ReplyDeleteI agree it is difficult to determine if a site is credible. A lot of online sources are not credible, anyone can create a website. Websites do not have to go throught the same process that a book needs to be published. An easy way to determine if a source is credible is to see if it is .gov or .edu. Other than that you have to see where they website gets its information from, which is usually listed at the bottom.
DeleteEmailing is a very useful tool for many professionals. Therefor, it is very important to convey a good sense of professionalism in your emails. Emails make it very easy to communicate but they can also lead to bad buisness due to the quality of the writing.
ReplyDeleteBeing creditable is my biggest concern. It is hard to believe everything you read, especially when anyone can create a site or blog. At times I catch myself writing something I heard and having to double check it online to make sure I am sending out the right information.
